I am finally allowed to show my painting! Here is how my night progressed.

We stood outside for about 30 minutes. Originally I was told that since I was a fancy artist I would be on a special list. So I was like SWEET SCORE! But then when we got there I was told to "GIT IN LINE." So I did, and waited a while. Saw a girl on the corner get hit by a car (she was not horribly hurt - just got knocked down) - then the driver DROVE AWAY. Continued to wait. J suggested I text message my boss who was already inside and is buddies with Sanrio folk. So I did and he was like "I WILL COME GET YOU!" So he tried but the people said that Royal-T was to capacity and "NO" - at this point J and I decided to leave because we are both bitches and didn't want to wait. So we went to Pepy's in Culver City which is located inside of a bowling alley and I ordered a chili dog.
LOOK AT IT - IT IS GLORIOUS!
And here is my fancy outfit that no one got to see. So I am posting it here since otherwise it was wasted.
I am definitely going back! I wanted to see the art, and the Hello Kitty apartment, but I am a baby when it comes to crowds.

That was a fab painting. Well done to you.
But my god! You were treated dreadfully at the show. I mean, you were one of the artists — in civilised and especially artistic circles that means star treatment.
Good on you though for not letting your night be ruined. A hearty meal can save the day.
honestly I hate crowds too but they treated you really unprofessionally as you are one of the artists exhibiting ! I would do the same as you did:)
I love the picture, Michelle. But so sorry you didn't get to go in. It would have been an opportunity of a life time to meet some big people in the company. Next time. Hope you get to go check out the show.

I am not allowed to sell prints of my Hello Kitty piece because then I would be stealing from Sanrio! But I will be making paintings and prints of my own art soon. I just need to find some more time!
That was an amazing painting! *slow clap for Michelle!* It was awful how they treated you though. Keep on being creative!
