I am not into this one - It could be a lot better. But I had to wake from sweet, sweet, sleep to get my draw on, so I'm not exactly stoked to be working right now.

Anyone reading this is going to think I'm always a cranky sleep bot.

It was originally going to be a 1 color design of clouds raining on trees, and then the ground beneath the trees was going to be the clouds again and repeat, repeat. But then it turned into this when I got frustrated trying to draw the roots of the trees and I just wanted to make something that looked decent. I will probably re-visit the original concept.

Here is a drawing I did for work that I am much more proud of. It is a sugar skull bandana. It's not my style, but I was really happy with how it came out. It doesn't count for my project though because it was for my day job.

I am so tired. I couldn't fall asleep last night and was up until 5:30am. I had to get up at 7:30am and go to work. ROUGH.

I'm delirious and made a weird puppy ice cream cone and hamburger...and they love food. Who doesn't?

This started off as this really simple pretty leaf pattern. Somehow it escalatd into this.

I figure my days start and stop when I sleep and wake up. I'm not counting the actual 24 hour period. So I didn't miss a day. I live on the edge.

I had to clean my house after work (and nap, my sleep schedule is still wrong - fell asleep at 3am today), because I'm going on vacay next week. I'll be in Hawaii. So my drawings will all have a tropical theme...or they will just be scribbles on hotel napkins and stationery.

I took elements of this pattern from a book jacket that my grandma had given me when I was a kid. I always liked it.

I am so sleepy. As soon as I have any vacation time, my sleep pattern immediately changes. I was up until 4am watching Gilligan's Island. It was the episode with the Mosquitoes. Good times.

I had to work on Hello Kitty bags today at work and it got my cute brain juice flowin'.

I finished customizing the blog today! Now it's not so generic. The bubbles in the logo will look familiar to today's pattern. I'm hoping to swap out the logo every month when the theme changes.

I don't plan on posting my drawings everyday, but I thought since this is the beginning I might as well so there is something to look at.

It's the last day of my Thanksgiving mini-vacation. Boo-urns. Much of it was spent eating and playing the Wii.

There isn't any particular reasoning for today's pattern. I generally just love word bubbles, and I wanted to use the artwork that I used for the logo. This will be my third design incorporating theme. It's also like this drawing I did a few weeks back.

It says "Oh Yeah, Uh huh ... Okay" and "Hello, Hi ... How's It Going"

This is the beginning of a memorial drawing I am making for my friend Braden. He is talking to a Sasquatch with jeans on.

This is the bridge when you exit Los Feliz blvd. from the 5 freeway. I'll take a picture sometime next week for comparison.

The first pattern I did must have been a premonition for today. I slept ALL DAY. I went to bed at about 3am, then woke up at 11am. Then napped on and off from 2pm-5pm.

I did manage to accomplish some things, but I mostly made lists for my big plans tomorrow.

This pattern is a breakdown of my list.

- Sleep/Wake up
- Shower
- Go to the Post Office (and UPS store!)
- Go shopping
- Bring my old clothes to Goodwill to donate
- Hang out with J, (the opposite colored face with the mustache is Mario, we are playing Super Mario Galaxy)
- Go to the bank
- Clean
- Sleep!

Day 2 and I'm already lazy and re-using artwork. This originally was a pattern I used on the "Friends and Neighbors" tee (on the rooftops). I added to it and altered it to accomodate my idea (and to cut back on the time I have to be in front of the computer).

I spent about 6 hours today driving to my parents house and back home. Happy Thanksgiving! It was worth it for the stuffing.

The pattern is supposed to be a representation of traffic - the little red dots are brake lights, and all the squares are cars. I know I'm pushing it, but it's pretty anyway...right?

Day 1! Happy birthday to me. I've had this idea in my head for about 2 weeks. I figured I would start with something I know and do well. Sleeping.

Originally I had the top two sleep clouds dreaming about counting sheep, but the sheep looked weird so I left them out.
